This platter starts life as a sheet of "Streaky" Bullseye fusing glass. The sheet is cut into narrow ribbons and arranged on edge in the kiln for its first firing. After cold working (Cutting, Grinding, and Sandblasting) the platter goes back into the kiln to give the Platter its final shape and satin lustre.
